Like learning to walk, vision gets to be learned with falling and standing up. Some issues are to have vision impairment, yet most can learn vision functions by training and adjusting.
We, as human beings, are very visual.
Over 80% of our perception is visual!
Since it is so important, it is good to know that our vision is flexible anough to improve and the way we can change it is through Vision Training

Seen?
The way we see is the way we are !
Learn from our Vision Development
We have a natural development of our vision as we are growing.
The steps we take are: as baby, first sensations of "Where am I?..." and "Where is this?..." Our first impressions leaves us to survive. A baby searches for food and connects to the mom and (caretaking)dad. Besides the overwhelming kinetic impressions, a babystarts to observe. The first days it recognizes the dark and light, even prenatal. Later recognition of shades develops and soon shapes exists. The recognition starts. the surroundings is being observed and registered. With the shades comes also colorrecognition. The tactile hand-eye coordination develops, ...etc.
The what and who this and that is, starts to become; where this is, and where I am. More registration and memorizing go on growing up. The observations becomes more real with the feedback of the memory recall. These repetitive interactions go on and on, even as adults. The more and more connections of every day generates new visual skills. A child behaves along the way visual skills develop. like most brainfunctions, also the vision takes up to about the age of 8 before having a 'normal' functioning vision. When both eyes and visual cortex in the brain develop well enough, one can have a nice depth perception. Volumes and distances become more obvious, this generates besides spacial awareness also a good time awareness. One learns to focus and gives more meaning to what is seen To start to pay attention is happening when fixation improves. A child starts to see symbols in rhythm and learns to read. With enough hand-eye coordination writing is possible. The letters becomes words and sentences gives more meaning. in the meanwhile a young person develop a deeper vision. understands more and put things in place and perspective. A playful environment generates always a better wider development. interactions makes one affectionate, etc.
In our schoolsystem much of our memory is trained to integrate concepts. It all creates the reality how we see.
Vision is a dominant brainactivity. But besides the brain, our eyes are open channels to take in light and its colors. This has a major effect on our nerve system.it regulates our inner clock our rhythms and hormones.
So figure this:
When we over focus near when reading too long, the more red of the light comes into our system. This creates a more 'active' state of the nerve system.
... To realize those fine aspects of our vision, urges us to learn more about vision!
Our eyes are the mirrors of our soul !
